Aya RN, Fletcher, recognized by multiple managers

Fletcher received outstanding acknowledgments from several managers at his facility. He’s also the recipient of a Bravo! Award, honoring him for a job well done. Read just a couple of his shout outs below.

One manager wants to thank Fletcher for being incredibly supportive on her unit. She mentioned he is one of the highest performing travelers she has worked with: “He picks up extra shifts, is friendly and hard working. I am truly incredibly impressed by him.”

Another manager stated, “Fletcher has been an excellent addition to our float pool and we only receive compliments for his work. We truly feel lucky that he chose his travel assignment (and extended) with our organization.”

Well-deserved recognition for RN, Dylan!

Aya RN, Dylan, was acknowledged by his nurse manager for providing amazing care:

“I just wanted to recognize and let you know what an exemplary RN Dylan is. He floated to our unit on Monday 7a shift. He was very sociable, pleasant and professional. He provided excellent care and every time I rounded the unit he was going from room to room and engaged with caring and compassion. I overheard and watched him patiently assist a stroke patient with their lunch — he was never impatient nor rushed and was present in the moment. The conversations he carried on with his patients and the interest he had in them were above and beyond. I truly wish we had him as a dedicated associate. He’s an asset to the facility and the profession. If there is any way to recognize him please do.”

Crystal was nominated for a DAISY Award!

Aya traveler, Crystal, received a very heartfelt DAISY nomination from a patient’s wife. Read the nomination below:

“Crystal made my husband’s stay tolerable. She was an exceptional nurse, helping with his care plan and making sure he felt safe and cared for, and she was very compassionate. No matter the situation, she approached it with heart and soul. She went beyond the call to duty, staying late, to make sure he was ok. She helped me form intelligent questions for doctors and explained when the doctor left, if necessary. She was just remarkable and the perfect example of what a nurse should be for a patient.”

Aya RN, Olivia, received a DAISY nomination

One of our travelers, Olivia, was nominated for a DAISY Award by one of her patients who wanted to recognize her for being positive, compassionate, bright and helpful.

Aya RN, Patrick, is a DAISY Award winner!

Patrick, RN, won the DAISY Award! He was nominated by his facility for taking incredible care of a long-term COVID ICU patient who eventually passed away. Patrick took care of this patient for a few weeks and built such a wonderful bond with the family that they found him on social media to reach out and thank him after the passing of their loved one. Here are some words from the patient’s daughter:

“I just want to let you know how much you meant to my family. I feel like you treated my family with such kindness and love. Thank you for always having my family’s best interest in mind. My family would have loved to have known you. I’m sure you hear it all the time, but my family member was truly one of the greats. My family member has helped so many people in this world, and never took anything too seriously except an unshakeable love for the family. I wish you had a chance to hear my family member’s amazing laugh and get one of their world-famous hugs. So, from me and my family…Thank you. You are truly an angel on Earth, and we will always remember what you did for us.”

Patrick, you embody what it means to be a nurse and care for your patients. You deserve this award. Congratulations!

Aya RN, Elijah, can’t and won’t stop providing excellent service

Elijah repeatedly receives awesome feedback from his facility and patients for his excellent service. Read some of the notes below:

RN Aimee received a card from her manager about her willingness to float as well as some positive patient feedback. The note read:

“Hi Aimee, I want to thank you so much again for floating today! We appreciate your help. I was rounding on the patients tonight and when I checked in on one, he couldn’t say enough good things about the care you provided. He said you were ‘amazing.’ Thank you so much for taking such good care of our patients! You are the best.”

A compassionate phone call

Aya traveler, Lee, was extremely helpful and personable while assisting a patient over the phone. The patient was so impressed, she called the facility to compliment him!

She expressed that Lee had done an excellent job — just “stellar” work with her during their phone call. She added that in her life, he was the only health professional who had shown her such compassion and was so kind and professional. She continued to say many kind words about him, and that she found it refreshing that she received such help.
