Nurse educator is impressed by Aya traveler, Kevin

RN, Kevin, was part of a trio of travelers who received complimentary feedback from a clinical nurse educator who wrote:

“Our staff doesn’t usually have travelers, but they’ve gone out of their way to say amazing things about these three. My understanding is that they’ve all been kind, respectful, hard-working, and team players. All of these individuals have demonstrated superb professionalism and genuine caring with our patients. I have personally been impressed by their interactions with staff on the floors and their presence on the unit during my rounding. In addition, these three were all called out for going above and beyond instead of just doing what is required. Please be sure to let them know they’ve been very much appreciated and are deserving of high praise!”

In addition, Kevin’s recruiter said, “Kevin has been one of my day one travelers who’s always been such a pleasure to work with. He is willing to go above and beyond to make sure he is the best asset to a team. I have gotten the pleasure to work and get to know Kevin and he’s not only an awesome employee but also such a great human!

Kevin, your drive and passion for your work are remarkable. Keep crushing it!

RN, Cameron, keeps spirits high at his facility

Aya traveler, Cameron, was complimented by his nurse manager after powering through a tough shift and uplifting his colleagues. The manager wrote:

“I am writing in regards to Cameron who floated to us. This was my first time meeting Cameron and I have nothing but great things to say about him! This night was extremely challenging staffing-wise. It was honestly the worst-staffed shift I have worked since the beginning of COVID. Every RN was busy with five patient assignments, two CNAs for the floor and no Unit Clerk. Cameron did not blink at his assignment, he kept an amazing attitude, and was extremely proactive. He helped his buddy RNs and really brought up the morale of the shift. I know that he’s not extending his contract any further, but we would welcome him back any time!”

Cameron, your positive attitude and dedication to your work is beyond impressive. Great job!

This small act made a huge impact on the patient’s family, our ICU Team and our hospital during a very difficult time. Brooke’s compassion and empathy mirror our mission and deserve recognition and our gratitude. On behalf of the hospital, I would like to say thank you and recognize Brooke for her extraordinary service. We hope she will continue her acts of compassion, care and service alongside our team of exceptional ICU nurses for many months to come.”
