HRA Independent Study Reveals Aya Is The Most Popular Travel Company

For the second year in a row, an independent study showed that Aya Healthcare is the most popular travel nurse company among travel nurses. In the study, “Social Listening: Evaluation of Travel Nurse Companies,” Healthcare Research & Analytics (HRA) evaluated more than 5,000 online comments posted in two popular travel nurse Facebook groups.

Comments were screened to ensure they were not made by travel nurse company employees, evaluated for sentiment, determined to be positive, negative or neutral and then tallied to determine agency likability. In addition, the relative mindshare of the most popular companies was calculated. Aya topped the list, owning 21.4% of the travel nursing industry’s mindshare. HRA also found that in the aggregate, positive sentiment towards travel nurse companies has increased slightly since 2016 — this time around, an average of 82% of the comments referencing the top companies were positive.
